SUMMARY:Inktense Landscape Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This exciting workshop is being taught by Unique Cottage Studio artists Angela Daymond and Jacs Harris. You will spend the morning in Jacs’ studio learning how to apply inktense pencils to both fabric and threads. Inktense pencils are highly pigmented water-soluble pencils that become permanent when dry. You will be creating the background for your stitching and also colouring the threads that you will use. \nYou will spend the afternoon in Angela’s studio preparing your fabrics for stitching and then stitching onto them using kantha techniques along with embroidery stitches. You will learn about how using different thicknesses of threads can bring depth and perspective to your work.
