SUMMARY:Inktense Landscape Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This exciting workshop is being taught by Unique Cottage Studio artists Angela Daymond and Jacs Harris. You will spend the morning in Jacs’ studio learning how to apply inktense pencils to both fabric and threads. Inktense pencils are highly pigmented water-soluble pencils that become permanent when dry. You will be creating the background for your stitching and also colouring the threads that you will use. \nYou will spend the afternoon in Angela’s studio preparing your fabrics for stitching and then stitching onto them using kantha techniques along with embroidery stitches. You will learn about how using different thicknesses of threads can bring depth and perspective to your work. As you will be colouring your own backgrounds and threads everyone’s piece will be truly unique. \nThis workshop is suitable for all levels of stitch and artistic ability as Jacs and Angela will guide you through every step of this creative and special day. \nLunch is included in the price of this workshop and this will be in the on site café. \nThe workshop starts at 10:00am and finishes at 4:00pm. \nWhat is Included \nInktense pencils for you to use in the workshop\nTwo skeins of embroidery floss\nPerlé 12 white cotton\nWhite cotton fabric\nThin wadding\nWhite muslin backing\nTwo different sizes of hand sewing needles.\nAfter the workshop you will be sent a video of all the embroidery stitches used in the workshop. \nTo book please visit Angela’s website: www.angeladaymond.com
